Returns Terms and Conditions

To exchange any item purchased from www.mothercare.ro:

The products should be in excellent condition, unused, and in their original packaging with all their labels (e.g. tags)

Returned products must include all accompanying documents (e.g. retail receipt, invoice, and shipping slip or gift receipt)

Items sold with an extra gift (e.g. 1+1 gift) must be returned with the additional gift. Otherwise, the value of the gift will be deducted.

All Returns/Exchanges of items are processed at their purchased value.

 

Returns are not accepted for:

Products that cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons or that have been unsealed after delivery, such as cosmetics, swimwear, socks, pantyhose, underwear, teats, etc.

Products manufactured according to customer specifications or clearly personalized, such as special orders for furniture, metal goods, special stroller orders, mattresses, etc.

Sealed audio documents or sealed video documents that have been unsealed after delivery (CD, DVD).

Books

 

Upon receipt of items (at the specific store or headquarters), a check will be performed whether the above terms are met. If so, Mothercare will proceed by processing the exchange or refund.

 

Order cancellation/ Refund

In case the Customer wishes to cancel their order, they should send an email to [email protected] with the order number, specifying ORDER CANCELLATION in the email object.

 

If payment was made using a credit or debit card via the e-shop, the Company, provided the payment has been received by the Bank, is obliged to inform the Bank about the cancellation of the transaction so the Bank can then proceed with any further action. Following this information, the Company has no responsibility for the time and manner of execution of the settlement, regulated by the contract drawn up between the issuing Bank and the Customer.

If payment was made by cash on delivery or bank deposit, the refund will be made on a bank account indicated by the Customer. For the refund to take place the customer must provide details of said account such as: IBAN, the name of the beneficiary, and the Bank of reference as per the original refund request email.

 

In case the order has not yet been delivered to the courier/ transporter company, Mothercare will refund the entire sum to Customer.

 

In case the order has been delivered to the courier/ transporter company, and after receiving the goods, Mothercare will refund the sum received by the Customer minus the cost of transportation.

This form is sent back completed only if you want to return the product. As stated above, it is not mandatory to fill out this standard form (information can be sent by email in any form).

Returning products for order cancellation or refund

In case of return, the fees for returning the products to the main warehouses of the Company will be borne by the Customer. If the return is due to a company error, the return fees are borne by the company.

Change of order items

In case the Customer wishes to  return the product  he has bought to change it with another item, he has the opportunity to do so within 20 working days  from the day of receipt of the item, provided that the Terms of change / return of items are met , delivering / at any store,  presenting the purchase receipt / invoice or change card. 

 In case of change of items, the Customer will have to choose new items of equal or greater value than the returned ones. 

If the Customer is not able to visit one of our stores, the change of items is done with the refund process from Returning products for order cancellation or refund 

 

Οrder modification

Order are not subject to modification. If you wish to change an order, you can cancel it by following the procedure as indicated in Order cancellation/ Refund and proceed with a new order.

 Right of cancellation in 14 days

The customer has the right to cancel a purchasing agreement, respectivel to return a product or renounce to a service, within 14 calendar days, without having to invoke any reason or support any additional cost other than that of the delivery/transport. In accordance with the OUG nr 34/2014, the period of returning a product or renoucing a service expires after a period of 14 days from:


  • the day when the Customer enters in physical possession of the last Product - in case the Customer has order on a single order multiple products that are delivered separately
  • the Day when the Customer enters in physical possession of the last Product or last piece - in the case the of a delivery of a product composed of sevaral parts.
